Our History

Melissa R. Carranza was born in Michigan and raised in Edinburg, TX. Having been practicing law in Texas since November 2007, Ms. Carranza is a current member of the State Bar of Texas, Hidalgo County Bar, and theWomen’s Bar Section.

She is also a former co-chair of the Women’s Bar Section of the Hidalgo County Bar. In 2004 Ms. Carranza graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Texas-Pan American and earned her J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law completing her degree in 2007.

RGV Law Center is dedicated to helping hardworking families obtain justice. Attorney Melissa R. Carranza founded RGV Law Center to provide quality legal services to those in need. We are devoted to helping the community with all aspects of personal injury, family law and business law. Our team is focused on representing individuals who have suffered from injuries, as well as the business community in starting business entities and negotiating business contracts.
